Chatting to friends recently, we spoke about how wonderful it is to find joy and appreciate the magic of the little things. And today was filled with little things. To most people - not extraordinary or noteworthy. But to me, the perfect Saturday. A great gym session. A phenomenal time at the beach. A homemade breakfast sandwich, and fresh, ripe, crunchy, sweet watermelon. A Saturday of gratitude.

You may just see a dress, but there was a LOT of bravery and self-talk to actually put it on and walk out the door to the office. It’s short, I think I own one dress that shows my knees, so it’s a big step in me overcoming an insecurity. We’ve reached “I spend 86% of my time in swimwear” season and I am here for it. My summer to-do list is ready - a delightful collection of tidal pool swims, floating in giant doughnuts, post-swim, sandy-toed pizza and aperol and that feeling of getting into bed at the end of the day knowing you got a little too much sun - but, have absolutely no regrets. What’s NOT on the list? Feeling self-conscious in your costume, hiding on the beach, paying any action to cellulite, wobbly bits or anything else. Who’s with me?
