Getting ready for Black Friday with Superbalist

Let’s be honest here, it’s not as if I need an excuse to spend money online.

But, when Superbalist asked me to create my wishlist of items I’ll be keeping an eye on for Black Friday, it was the nudge I needed to dream up a few items that I’d very much like to add to my shopping cart.

And, of course, I thought perhaps you’d like to see what I have my eye on, too. Without realising, it appears I have very particular themes running through my wishlisted items – nude handbags, timeless clothes, storage solutions, comfortable shoes, travel items – and, a little make-up.

Because, as a little life update – I’m working hard to make my dream trip to Paris come true in April, fpr Spring. So, quite a few of these items are all a little Parisian in inspiration – classic black and white, nude handbags, a statement red lip and comfortable walking shoes – that still look good, of course. If I’m being honest, I’d rather be a little uncomfortable than feel ugly in Paris, bien sûr.

Box clutch // Aldo handbag // Packing cubes // Eye mask

Then, a little storage – both for traveling, and for home. I suppose at 33, I now get excited about storage options – the trolley below is particularly for my make-up and skincare items, as they’ve gotten a little out-of-hand since the beginning of the year (I’m a Digital Editor focusing on beauty for a large retail brand, so it literally comes with the job).

So, apart from keeping an eye on the items you’re lusting after, creating a wishlist also helps you keep track of any discounts that appy to the items you have your eye on. A good tip for any time of the year, but particularly around Black Friday (29 November 2019) and Cyber Monday (2 December 2019).

You can view my full wishlist here – I’ll be adding to it over the coming weeks. Don’t forget to create your own, download the Superbalist App – and, set your alarm to see if your favourite items get lucky on Black Friday.
