The perfect everyday-meets-statement ombré ring

I love jewellery. I really, really do. Give me all the sparkle, tassels and shiny bits and I’ll collect them like a magpie. However, in reality – I normally leave home with only my wedding rings and a pair of ear rings.

I don’t know whether it’s the fear of being too done up, or just sheer laziness, but I find that most of my jewellery collection stays on my dressing table and only receives an infrequent day out. Once I was aware of this, I started looking at a little sparkle that was slightly more realistic for me to wear everyday – and, as I never leave the house without my wedding ring, I started thinking about the idea of adding another, stacking ring to that finger.

Enter, Janine Binneman Jewellery Design.

I first came across Janine on Instagram, and fairly instantly fell in love with their unique ombré ring designs. Perfect to be worn as a statement alone or stacked with your favourites – as she’s done here – they’re a gorgeous pop of colour on your finger and come in an almost infinite range of colour combinations – including the option for you to create your own.

I finally settled on the Pomegranite colour tone – in a sterling silver setting with a combination of tourmalines and topaz, as pink features quite heavily in my wardrobe, but will admit the Sea Foam in rose gold was a very close contender.

As each piece is lovingly hand made, you can be sure that no two pieces will ever be exactly the same. Janine also only uses gold and silver that is certified fair trade, sustainable and conflict free – and stones are ethically sourced – so you know your new piece has a peaceful history and no community or area was harmed in its production.

Janine’s jewellery makes for the perfect Christmas present – you have two weeks to place your order for a little sparkly something under the tree. But, if you miss the deadline – there’s always the option of an instant gift voucher too. Here are a few other items that caught my eye:

Bling necklace // Delicious monster ear rings // Copper ear rings

I received a ring at no cost in exchange for a featured post. All views and images are my own.
